Community Wellness
Our Community Wellness funding supports organizations that share our commitment to helping individuals and families reach their full potential. We focus on breaking the cycle of generational poverty by investing in efforts that strengthen stability, opportunity, and well-being. Priority areas include:
- Secure and stable housing
- Access to healthy, sustainable food
- Basic needs fulfillment
- Job training and pathways to professional growth
- Equitable access to physical and mental healthcare
Education Equity
Our Educational Equity funding reflects our belief that education is essential to improving an individual’s quality of life. We support efforts that expand access to high-quality learning opportunities from early childhood through high school. Our focus areas include:
- Supporting educators through professional development and training
- Promoting access to high-quality, inclusive curriculum
- Expanding access to early childhood education as a foundation for lifelong learning
Environmental Sustainability
Funds given in the area of environmental sustainability are specifically in support of programs and organizations actively addressing the restoration and sustainability of the natural habitat as well as the ongoing climate change and ecosystem challenge.
The Buuck Family Foundation reviews grant proposals two times a year as part of an invite only process. We fund organizations that reflect our three issues areas – Community Wellness, Education Equity, and Environmental Sustainability. The Foundation primarily grants to organizations in the Twin Cities (MN), the Bay Area (CA) and greater Los Angeles (CA)
